I know I'm not the first and I'm sure I'm not the last, but for those of you who believe in God, please say a pray for the folks in New Orleans tonight. For those of you who don't belive in God, well I guess you can wish them the best of luck.
Landfall should be fairly soon, and hopefully the Superdome will stand up the the weather.
Here lies some random things I feel like commenting on and various other posts.

Michael Yon : Online Magazine
Michael Yon : Online Magazine
I just found this blog through a webforum that I frequent. I haven't been able to read through the whole thing yet, but the parts I have are extremely well written. I really like the insight the author has for the troops.
Feel free to check it out. I find you get so much more information from these types of sources than you do from mainstream media, and with out the spin.

Another boring night... So far
Well like the title says its another boring night here at work. I've not really done much just kind of read stuff and played on the internet. How ever now that I have said that I've jinxed myself and the world is going to end soon :).
Anyways, on an unrelated note, the Forum I frequent Zombie Squad got mini-hacked the other day. It was done as a joke at first but then some trolls came in and ruined everything. Luckily they were able to put the backup in place and everything is back to normal. Well normal for them at least.
Also I just finished a book called Watch on the Rhine by Col. Tom Kratman, It is an execellent book set in the "Polseen" universe created by John Ringo. However while most of Ringo's Books take place either off planet or in America, Col. K's books take place in Germany, and they feature the rejuvenated soldiers of the SS. The book doesn't try and whitewash any of the SS's atrocities but it does highlight that while some member units of the SS were a band of thugs and criminals, there were members that had honor and they were superb soldiers.
Well that's it for now.

Also it was my mom's birthday on Friday she is now 34 years old with 10 years experince. My aunt and uncle came down from jacksonville to celebrate. Other than that nothing else is going on.
